I know your life is and can be challenging. You may allow life to bring you down. You may let the challenges you face on a day-to-day basis keep you down. It doesn’t matter if you reside in Singapore, Philippines, Australia, Mexico, England, Japan, or the Arctic we all have things take place in our life that challenge us.

I am here to tell you TODAY is another day. TODAY is the day you make a change. TODAY is a day you overcome life’s challenges. I do not want to hear you say, “I can’t, it’s impossible, I don’t know how, or I’m not strong or capable enough.” It all boils down to showing gratitude. Be grateful for your family and the life you live. Be happy for the air in the your lungs. Be grateful for your health.

While being grateful for things you already have start being grateful for things you KNOW you’ll have in the future. Will it into existence. Use the Law of Attraction to your benefit. I’ve done it so why can’t you? YOU CAN!!! I know you can. Start saying thank you and showing gratitude for more money, better health, that promotion at work, that experience you’ve always dreamed of, or maybe love and romance.

Whatever you desire you can manifest into reality. The key is to already be grateful for it as if you already have it NOW. Think it, speak it, and feel it on every level possible.

I had a challenging day myself, today. No details are needed but I will say this; I’m grateful for the money I do have (not a lot), my career, my beautiful girl, my family, a home, my abundant health, food, motor skills, and the technology to help lift you up and realize TODAY IS ANOTHER DAY! 🙂 I don’t call days that do not go my way BAD; I call them challenging days. The reason I do this is I LOVE a challenge and I WILL overcome it. Just like YOU will overcome your challenging days.

This is what develops character. These challenging days is what makes you a stronger individual. Any successful entrepreneur will tell you if you want to achieve a goal in life you have to start at the end and work backwards. Think about it. What is at the very end of achieving a goal? It’s APPRECIATION! You are so happy and grateful you did it.

Again, start at the end and work backwards. Start with GRATITUDE. Think it, speak it, feel it, and believe as if it is already in your hands. With a little work, patience, and time you’ll achieve what you’ve been working towards. Remember, today is another day. As Kris Heap says in his book, The Law of the Harvest, “You reap what you sow”. If you educate yourself by reading a book a month and start surrounding yourself around successful individuals you are sowing seeds in your plot (life) that will lead to a prosperous harvest (success).

So don’t let life’s challenges bring you down. Don’t let it discourage you from your goals and dreams. Forget about tomorrow being another day, TODAY is another day. Don’t live your life on I wish but instead start living it on I WILL! You have what it takes. We all do! Harness it and apply it. When you apply it you’ll notice your challenges start to change into blessings.

Considering tax season is here…

that means April 15th is just a short month away. I am not saying I LIKE taxes. Let’s be real about this. Other than Uncle Sam nobody likes paying into taxes.  🙂

So instead of complaining and dog mouthing how the government likes dipping into my pockets, I’m going to try something different. I am just going to feel grateful for taxes. When you really boil it down taxes do pay for our national security, our transportation system, our education system, police, and so many more things we overlook.

At the end of the day you have to look at the good in everything. It’s important to do this. If you really assess the dreaded taxes and see the good from it, you will feel better. We benefit A LOT from paying taxes. There are so many things we overlook when it comes to paying taxes.

Does this mean you have to like it? No. I still don’t get along with April 15th but I accept it and I’m grateful for it because it does help our country.

I hope this makes you feel a little better about paying in this year. It did for me. 🙂

A Gratitude Journal is a MUST!!!

A Gratitude Journal.

A Gratitude Journal is a MUST! It is a must for many reasons. Unlike the power of the gratitude rock, a gratitude journal allows you to go back and read what you have written. If you ever find yourself down about life and you feel bad about your circumstances all you have to do is flip a few pages back and read your blessings. There is no memory needed. You do not need to exert any extra energy to think of things to be grateful for. You just read, it is as simple as that. Keep in mind that is just one reason for a Gratitude Journal.

I personally do not go back and read through what I wrote. I will when I complete my journal and maybe again in the future. I am a FIRM believer in what you put out in the Universe you will receive in abundance. I believe in thinking, feeling, doing, speaking, and writing down every single thing, person, place, or experience I have in life. In case you did not have the chance to read my last post about having a gratitude rock, please do. It is important. One thing I have noticed with MOST people is the fact that good health is being taken for granted.

I met a girl, about a year ago, who I became friends with in Wisconsin. She is one of the best female DJ’s I know; she is one of the most motivated, down-to-earth human beings. We spoke recently after she read my post about the gratitude rock. She mentioned how she could not agree more about people taking their health for granted. She shared with me a little information that set me back. Here she is, an energetic, spontaneous club DJ who just so happens to have MS. I had no clue. She shared a few challenges she was faced with and how some of her motor skills were not up to par. However, at the end of the day; through the daily practice of gratitude, she continues to overcome it and gain strength and not let it take over her life.

The point I am making is this: GRATITUDE in your life is KEY! The photo above is a real passage, from a few weeks back, one of my personal favorites. I write in my journal every day. I speak it, I feel it, I think it, I ACT on it. The first two things I give “thanks” for are:

1. Another Day of LIfe

2. My outstanding health

Those are the first two things I NEVER forget to give gratitude for. I hope you are getting the message. Writing in a journal is not just to make you feel better: it goes way beyond that. In order to receive what you want out of life you must give to life FIRST. Meaning, give “thanks” for another day of waking up. Give “thanks” that you have air in your lungs. Give “thanks” for the sun and rain. If you want MORE money in your life then give “thanks” for the money you already have. Put your energy, your focus, and your attention on what you have in order to receive what you want. You will know it is working in your favor when you least expect it. I have put this practice into motion daily and the results are astounding. I will share more with you later into the future. For now…

YOUR NEXT PLAN OF ACTION STEP:

Go to a Barns and Nobel or any book store and get a quality journal. If you are going to do this, please do it right. If you cannot afford a quality journal quite yet, that’s fine!  An $.88 notebook from the dollar store will work until you can. But start NOW!!! Get a Gratitude Journal and start writing your blessings!!!
